Company History
Kevin Barry, Managing Director & founder of Green Circle comes from a family that are well known throughout the wholesale, retail and grocery sectors in both Ireland and the United Kingdom. Kevin founded Green Circle back in 2002 & quickly established the company’s reputation of providing high quality branded and non-branded goods along with a high level of customer service.
Over the last 22 years the company has gone from strength to strength and now employs 35 full time employees, with staff based in both Ireland and in the UK. The company now deals with customers and suppliers not just in Ireland and the UK but also across mainland Europe, the United States & Australia. The product range has diversified over the years and one of the company’s key strengths is the ability to quickly adapt to new market trends.
Sustainability and the Environment
The green agenda is at the core of what we do. Quite literally green is in our name and we take our responsibilities and the requirements of our customers very seriously. We encourage our suppliers to minimise our collective impact on the environment and are members of a number of organisations that reduce, reuse and recycle. We are constantly looking at how we can be more sustainable, this includes switching to more environmentally friendly products within our office, liaising with our warehouse partners on how we can reduce our carbon footprint and constantly adapting our processes so we can keep progressing the green agenda.
